The Climbers' Co-Op has a number of facilities policies for members and guests.  These policies help us work toward our goals of creating a sustainable and inviting living environment for all community members.

Facilities / Codes

Picture
All house members, under the supervision of the maintenance officer, are responsible for understanding and following all city codes and ordinances
Once per semester, the maintenance officer and grounds-person are responsible for conducting an inspection of the house and yard.  These inspections should mimic a city inspection.  If any violations are found, the maintenance officer and grounds-person should address them at the next family meeting and take action to correct them
  • If any violations are not corrected and are cited by a city official, the president, maintenance officer and grounds-person are required to facilitate an immediate response to correct the problem
  • The MCC became Marquette's first official housing cooperative on March 17. 2020. Here is an article about the journey. Thank you to Aaron Gerry for writing and getting it published!
